L V Saptrishi, who shot to fame for his allegations against the two Elections Commissioners B B Tandon and N Gopalaswamy, found himself in yet another controversy.

Saptarishi, who was Special Observer to the Chapra polls, in a letter to the Union law minister, alleged that polls were countermanded at the behest of Bharatiya Janata Party chief L K Advani in collusion with two ECs.

Saptrishi was scheduled to hold a press conference in India International Centre in New Delhi on Sunday. However, the Indian Administrative officer did not book the venue.

So while he was addressing journalists, IIC official Lalit Joshi approached him to furnish details of the bookings.

Saptrishi claimed the booking was made by a man staying at the IIC guesthouse. "You can check it out," he added.

While the officials were checking his claim, the IAS officer left the press conference.

"I would like to inform the media that this press conference was totally unauthorised," Joshi was heard telling reporters.
