The 300-km Srinagar-Jammu national highway was on Saturday shut to traffic again due to fresh landslides, official sources said.
The arterial road that links Kashmir with the rest of the country was partially opened to traffic on Tuesday after remaining closed for a fortnight.
The landslides at Ramsu, about 130 km from Srinagar [Images], were triggered by a fresh spell of snowfall in the upper reaches of the Kashmir Valley and continuous overnight rains in the plains, a traffic control spokesman said.
He said snow also blocked the Jawahar tunnel.
No movement of vehicles will be permitted from Srinagar to Jammu, the spokesman said.
