Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani tendered his resignation as party president on Tuesday morning.
Advani submitted his resignation to BJP general secretary, admininstration, Sanjay Bhai Joshi, and is currently refusing to speak to the media.
The resignation is a fallout of Advani's statements made in Pakistan where he had described Mohammed Ali Jinnah as a 'secular leader'.
