The wedding of Javed Miandad's son Junaid with Dawood Ibrahim's [Images] daughter may finally take place later this month although details were still being kept strictly under wraps.

Unconfirmed reports said the ceremony was likely to take place on July 23 in Dubai.

Family sources claimed they had no knowledge about the proposed wedding but friends close to the legendary cricketer said the ceremony was indeed planned for July 23.

"We have heard that the wedding will take place in Dubai on July 23. We have not received any invitation for the wedding nor has Javed Miandad directly informed us of this function," a close aide of Miandad said.

Efforts to contact the former Pakistan cricket captain went in vain.

Miandad's son and Dawood's daughter study in England [Images] and reports of their proposed wedding first started doing the rounds in January.
