At least 350 people were killed in a stampede at a temple fair in western Maharashtra's Satara district on January 25.
The stampede occurred when the gathering, taking part in the annual Mandra Devi Yatra at the Mandra Devi temple located on a hill in Wai, panicked when a fire erupted reportedly due to a short-circuit.
People in thousands - according to some estimates, over 200,000 -- had assembled at the fair.
Over 200 people were reported injured in the incident.
Dead bodies lined up at the site of the incident.
