Sixteen Communist Party of India-Marxist-Leninist Naxalites were arrested and firearms, including semi-automatic rifles, were seized from them in Bettiah in Bihar's West Champaran district on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police M R Naik said a police team raided Badnihar village under Sikarpur police station in the wee hours of Saturday and nabbed the Naxalites.
Six semi-automatic rifles, 10 pistols and several rounds of ammunition were seized from them.
