A bunch of students from the Delhi Public School who went to meet Rashtriya Janata Dal chief and Railway Minister Lal Prasad Yadav to raise with him the issue of one of their abducted schoolmates, Kislay Komal, had to return empty-handed on Friday.

The minister, who preferred electioneering, could not meet them. The students had to be satisfied with an audience with the minister's brother-in-law and Rajya Sabha member, Subhash Yadav.

Subhash Yadav told the students -- who were holding placards saying 'Kislay ko riha karo', 'Hamare dost ko bachao' -- that he would facilitate their meeting with Lalu Yadav later in the day.

Kislay, the son of a sales tax officer, K K Gupta, was kidnapped from Patel Nagar locality under Shastri Nagar police station in Patna on Wednesday.
