Over 20 killed in Iraq car bombings

Over 20 people were reported killed and around 100 injured in a series of car bombings in and around Baghdad early on Friday.

The attacks came less than 15 hours after parliament voted in the new government of Prime Minister Ibrahim Jaafari.

The string of attacks mostly targeted security pickets.

A local source said there were at least nine bombings.
