| The team, comprising a specialist and two anesthetists, will fly to Srinagar by a special aircraft, official sources said, adding a decision to this effect was taken by the Union Ministry of Home.
Maulavi Mushtaq was attacked while he was offering prayers in a mosque in downtown Srinagar. He received bullet injuries in the abdomen, ribs and chin. The attack was an obvious attempt by militants to stall the peace dialogue between the Kashmiri leaders and the Indian government. The Mirwaiz is a key figure in the peace dialogue. The day his uncle was attacked, the Mirwaiz's residence too was attacked by militants with hand grenades.
