Ever heard of Syndicate Dating?

August 09, 2004

Who Said Three's A Crowd?!

Beautiful garden, fresh air, a glass of bubbly and sunshine.

A perfect evening to be spent with some good company and how does one find them?

A new phenomenon called Syndicate Dating takes care of this.

Yahoo! Personals recently introduced Syndicate Dating and Dating in the Park events in the United States.

Syndicate Dating involves a group of single, 20 to 30 something men and women meeting, relaxing, mingling, having fun and getting to know each other.

The idea is to have provide stress-free fun with friends in the outdoors, and not in the usual noisy pubs or bars. Where people can relax without any pressure of first date nerves.

How does it work?

Come to the designated park. Enjoy the drinks and the food on picnic mats in the park while getting to know the men and women in your syndicate group.

After 15 minutes of quality 'get to know you time,' male syndicate groups move onto the next mat to meet a new set of fellow female daters, and so on, until the end of the evening.

At the end of the evening, daters can enjoy a game of croquet or lawn bowls, or head off to a local bar to continue the fun.
