M Shakeel Ahmed in Zurich | September 27, 2003 14:45 IST

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee arrived in Zurich on Saturday on his way back home after a hectic week-long stay in New York, where he addressed the UN General Assembly and met several world leaders, including US President George W Bush and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

After a day's stop-over, Vajpayee, who had a seven-and-a-half-hour flight from New York, will return to Delhi on Sunday night.

During his stay in New York, terrorism, Indo-Pak relations and the Iraq developments dominated the prime minister's agenda.

Before flying to New York, Vajpayee spent four day in Turkey.
