Militants on Saturday exploded a landmine on a link road near the Jammu and Kashmir highway injuring two persons and damaging an army bus.

The bus fell into a gorge after being thrown off balance under the blast's impact.

The landmine exploded around 1145 IST, official sources said.

The bus had only two occupants. The highway was closed for vehicular traffic for almost 20 minutes after the blast.
