Prithvi Theatre is located in northwest Mumbai, tucked away in a quiet corner of Juhu. Founded by film actor Shashi Kapoor and his wife, the late actress Jennifer Kendall, to fulfil the dream of his father, the late Prithviraj Kapoor, one of the earliest stars of Hindi cinema, it was inaugurated on November 5, 1978.
