The Prince surveyed the restoration work in Mehrangarh fort, where he saw a garden restoration project underway.

Before starting his Rajasthan vist the British royal visited Delhi's Metro, Dilli Haat and the organic food stall and the restored Humayun's Tomb.

In Gurgaon he visited the Teri Retreat, the resource efficient centre for environmental awareness and training, and Arpana Ashram, where under-five-year-old children are given supplementary nutrition and informal education.
