Kashmir massacre: PM convenes CCS meeting

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has convened an emergency meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security to discuss the situation in Jammu and Kashmir in the wake of the massacre of 24 Kashmiri Pandits in Pulwama district on Sunday night.

The meeting is expected to review the security scenario following the massacre and also discuss the assassination of Hizbul Mujahideen leader and a moderate leader, Abdul Majid Dar.

The CCS is expected to be attended by Deputy Prime Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani and Defence Minister George
Fernandes.
