Coach of Dharmavaram Express derails,
no casualties

An engine and a coach of the Dharmavaram-Kachiguda Express derailed in Andhra Pradesh in the early hours of Monday.

The train — known as Satya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam Express — derailed between Veldurthi and Ulindakonda railway stations in Kurnool district around 0030 IST.

There were no casualties, a South Central Railway spokesman said adding the passengers would be brought to Hyderabad by a special train.

Following the mishap, the Venkatadri Express and Bangalore Express were diverted to run via Wadi.

On Sunday morning, the Patna-New Delhi Magadh Vikramshila Express derailed in the Baruna-Parasi section of Danapur division resulting in the death of one person.
