Lal Kishenchand Advani will meet All-Party Hurriyat Conference leaders after the Winter Session of Parliament, according to an aide to the deputy prime minister.
Asked if any date has been fixed, the source said that it could be immediately after the session is over on December 22.
"I will not specify a date. Meeting between Advaniji and Hurriyat leaders will be held soon. That is all that I can tell you for the time being," the source said.
When contacted Bilal Lone of the People's Conference told rediff.com that no one from the government had contacted the Hurriyat.
"We are waiting for the invitation to meet the deputy prime minister. So far no invitation has been extended to us," Lone said.
Besides Lone, Abdul Gani Bhat and Mirwaiz Omar Farooq have been camping in Delhi for more then a week now. Hurriyat chairman Maulvi Abbas Ansari is expected to arrive in Delhi next week.
Dissident Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has refused to talk to the government.
