Uttar Pradesh chief minister-designate Mulayam Singh Yadav on Thursday said corruption charges against outgoing chief minister Mayawati will be investigated as per the law.

The Samajwadi Party chief, who takes over as chief minister on Friday, said: "There will be no witch hunting."
