Ten days CBI remand for
Pandya's alleged killers

An Ahmedabad court on Monday remanded five alleged killers of former Gujarat home and revenue minister Haren Pandya to CBI custody for ten days.

The five, including the main accused Ashgar Ali, were produced before Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Meghaninagar) Raneksha at 1030 IST amidst tight security.

After hearing the arguments by CBI counsel S N Parmar, the court remanded the five persons to 10 days' CBI custody till April 30.

Besides Ashgar Ali, whom the CBI identified as the main shooter, the others are Abdul Bakr, Abdul Rauf, Mohammad Iftekar and Mohammed Shafi.
