Bhutto has been in self-imposed exile since 1998 after being convicted in corruption cases and is also barred from participating in elections in her country.
Pointing out that the Pakistani president has been investing himself with an increasing amount of power, Bhutto has said that continued US support to the non-elected leader could prove dangerous for the entire South Asia.
Terming the October 10 general elections as a 'farce', Bhutto has alleged that rejection of her nomination papers was premeditated and charged the military regime with 'selective application' of election laws.
Bhutto has also accused the country's Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) of intimidating candidates of her Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).
"But I intend to fight on. I would like to make it clear that I have only deferred my return to Pakistan, I have not cancelled my plans to go back," Bhutto has told the Gulf News daily in Dubai.
Bhutto had filed papers for three parliamentary seats, including the PPP stronghold of Larkana.
Her lawyers have lodged an appeal against the rejection of her nomination papers. Election tribunals have until September 13 to decide on the appeals.
