SC transfers nine petrol pump cases
to itself

A bench comprising Justice Y K Sabharwal and Justice H K Sema ordered the transfer after advocate Sanjay Kapur mentioned the cases.

The owners of the pumps had filed petitions in various high courts challenging the Centre's order.

The nine cases were that of Mukund Swaroop, son of BJP MP Shyam Behari Mishra; Sarala Kamble, wife of Shiv Sena MP Shivaji Kamble; Dr Girija Vyas, Congress MP; Rajesh Tandulkar, son of Narayan Tandulkar, rural BJP president, Nagpur; Naranjan Singh, son-in-law of former Akali MP Dhanna Singh Gulshan; Heerendra Singh Chauhan, son of former Congress MLA Mool Singh Chauhan at Maksundangarh; Ghanshyam Dass, BJP constituency secretary at Julana, Haryana; Hemendra Singh, son of BJP pradhan of Kekri Panchayat Samiti at Sawar, Ajmer; Nagendra, son of IG (anti-corruption) Rajasthan Police Ram Jeevan Meena.
