Body of missing cop found with stab wounds

The body of a police constable, who has been missing since Thursday, was found in the Makarba area of the minority community-dominated Juhuapura locality in Sarkhej town in Ahmedabad (rural) district on Friday.

Police said Parvatsinh Kesaji, attached to the Vejalpur police station on the outskirts of Ahmedabad, may have become a 'soft target' for some miscreants while passing through that area.

His body has several wound marks inflicted by both blunt and sharp-edged weapons, police said.
