"The House resolves to fight against such senseless acts of terrorism, which are against humanity as a whole, in a united and determined manner and declares this nation's commitment to see an end to this menace," the identical resolution adopted after a special discussion on the Jammu massacre said.
In the Lok Sabha it was moved by Speaker Manohar Joshi while in the Rajya Sabha it was read out by Vice-Chairman Suresh Pachouri.
The resolution said it was essential that leaders of the world took note of the "continuing acts of terrorism encouraged by Pakistan" so that effective action could be taken against it.
The one-page resolution said India had consistently tried to build friendly relations with Pakistan through the mechanism provided by the Simla Agreement and Lahore Declaration to solve all existing problems.
"But to our great disappointment, our efforts did not meet with the desired response from Pakistan," it said.
It also conveyed sympathies to the families of those killed in Tuesday's attack.
