Two BSF personnel shot
dead in Baramulla

Two Border Security Forc e personnel were shot dead by some unidentified militants in Sopore town of Baramulla district in north Kashmir on Thursday evening, official sources said.

Unidentified militants fired at them from point-blank range in the main market area of Sopore, about 55 km from Srinagar, at around 6.30 pm, the sources said.

The deceased have been identified as Sub-inspector Dharam Singh and Havaldar Param Singh.

The BSF sealed the area after the shootout and launched a hunt to nab the militants.
