J&K mosque siege ends, Hizb terrorist killed

The siege of a mosque in Badgam district of Kashmir ended on Thursday afternoon after army sharpshooters killed a Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, who had refused to surrender, defence sources said.

The terrorist, Mohammed Mudasir alias Umar, had taken shelter in the mosque at Rudbugh village after exchanging fire with a joint search party of the army and police at around 8.30 hrs, the sources said.
