Terrorists massacre six Hindu villagers
in Poonch

At least six Hindu villagers, including a couple, were killed at Magran village in the border district of Poonch in Jammu region on Monday night.

Police said unidentified gunmen forced their way into the house of one Khetar Paul Singh and opened fire on the people inside.

"Five persons, including Khetar Paul Singh and his wife, were killed in the firing," a police officer said.

The others who died were identified as Baldev Raj (brother of Paul), Kuldeep Kumar and Madan Lal.

The villagers shifted two persons who received injuries to hospital. One of them succumbed to his injuries in the hospital.

Sources said a hunt had been mounted to nab those involved in the attack on the members of the minority community. No one has yet admitted responsibility for the attack.
