No post-poll alliance for BSP: Mayawati

Bahujan Samaj Party leader Mayawati said on Friday that in the event of a hung assembly in Uttar Pradesh, her party would get into any alliance to form a government.

Mayawati, addressing an election rally in Ghaziabad, said her party would be content to sit in the opposition benches if it did not get the required majority.

She categorically ruled out any truck with the Bharatiya Janata Party or the Samajwadi Party stating that it was "beyond imagination".

Charging Chief Minister Rajnath Singh with creating social injustice and lawlessness in UP, Mayawati said the BJP governments had been a "total failure" both in the state and at the Centre.
