Pakistani shelling kills 3 kids in J&K district

Heavy Pakistani shelling on two villages in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir resulted in the death of three children on Thursday evening, police sources said

Four other were injured in the attack.

The sources told rediff.com that one residential house was destroyed in the shelling. Pakistani troops fired artillery shells on Jabri village and Nawgabra in Karna sector.

One shell, which exploded in Jabri, killed three children. The injured were rushed to the hospital.

Reports of Pakistani shelling were also received from Uri sector in Baramullah district.
