Child trafficking: Anita Sen seeks anticipatory bail

Syed Amin Jafri in Hyderabad

Anita Sen, director of Precious Moments, an adoption home in Hyderabad, moved an anticipatory bail application in the court of additional metropolitan sessions judge on Thursday in connection with a criminal case of child trafficking filed by the police against her.

Sources said Anita Sen's petition would come up for hearing on Saturday.

A case of child trafficking was filed against Sen, wife of Additional Director-General of Police (Recruitment) Swaranjit Sen, by the Kukatpally police on April 27, a day after 61 infants and children were rescued from her adoption home.
