Four, including two militants, killed
in explosion in Baramulla

Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar

Four persons, including two militants, were killed in a massive explosion in Gatbal village in northern Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening.

The explosion occurred in a house, which police said was extensively damaged. Security forces have rushed to the spot.

Eyewitnesses said security forces also opened fire in the direction of the house.

Two militants were reportedly hiding inside the house when the explosion occurred, sources said.

Those killed included the owner of the house Ghulam Nabi Dar and his son Farooq Ahmed Dar.

The bodies of the militants are yet to be recovered from the rubble.
