Four men gunned down in Bihar

Unidentified assailants gunned down four upper caste men at Rajpur village in Lakhisarai district of Bihar, police said on Tuesday.

Those killed have been identified as Tejo Singh (65), Asho Singh (62), Parsuram Singh (55) and Sahjanand Singh (55).

Tension was running high in Piro Bazar police area where the killing took place on Monday, they said.

Angry locals sat on a dharna near the Piro Bazar rail line on the Kiul-Jamalpur section of the Eastern Railway.

Police patrolling was intensified in the area after the incident.
