Aamir Khan's Lagaan will have an additional 18 minutes of footage soon.
Disclosing this at a crowded press conference in Hyderabad on Monday, the actor-producer said: "Going by the massive response, we have decided to add over 18 minutes of edited footage."
The added footage would add to the tempo and flow of the narrative without disturbing its original poise, he said.
The period film, in which villagers win a cricket match against their British rulers, is directed by Ashutosh Gowariker.
