Demolitions raise hackles of south Bombay shopkeepers

By Our Correspondent in Bombay

Tension erupted in south Bombay on Thursday evening when the Bombay Municipal Corporation started demolishing illegal buildings.

"The situation is now under control and we are keeping a strict vigil," a senior police official said.
