Eleven persons were killed and 14 others injured in a head-on collision between a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus and a truck at Nidaghatta in Mandya early on Saturday morning, police said.
Eight of the injured have been hospitalised in Bangalore and six in Maddur, they said.
The bus was proceeding to Vadagara in Kerala from Bangalore and the lorry to Bangalore from Kollegal when the mishap occurred, the police added.
