Bhat in Delhi to firm up plans to meet Musharraf

Hurriyat Conference chairman Abdul Gani Bhat flew into Delhi on Sunday to firm up plans for his proposed meeting with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf.

The Hurriyat chairman told PTI on his arrival that he was in Delhi to "see the progress in his proposed meetings with Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Musharraf."

Bhat, chairman of Muslim Conference, one of the main constituents of Hurriyat, however, did not give any details of his programme in the capital.

Bhat recently received a brief letter from Musharraf in response to his communication sent to Vajpayee and Musharraf seeking meetings with them.
