Vajpayee convenes all-party meeting on summit

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has convened an all-party meeting on Monday to hold consultations ahead of his summit meeting with President Pervez Musharraf of Pakistan next week.

At least 35 leaders of political parties have been invited for the consultations, official sources said on Saturday.

As part of the consultation process, Vajpayee has already met former prime ministers P V Narasimha Rao, V P Singh and Chandra Shekhar.
