Judge summons complainant, investigating officer in 'flyover scam'

Principal Sessions Judge (PSJ) Ashok Kumar has summoned the complainant and investigating officer in the 'flyover scam' to appear before him on Tuesday.

The PSJ gave this direction when the bail application of one of the accused in the case, Dr N S Srinivasan, came up for hearing and the prosecution sought some time.

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister M Karunanidhi and three others were arrested on Friday night on the basis of a complaint lodged by Madras Corporation Commissioner J C T Acharyalu alleging irregularities to the tune of Rs 12 crore (Rs 120 million) in the construction of 10 flyovers in the city.
