Musharraf hopeful of dialogue with India

Pakistan's military ruler General Pervez Musharraf Wednesday expressed the hope that an Indo-Pak dialogue would take place soon to resolve all bilateral disputes, including Kashmir.

He told his Cabinet that the Hurriyat Conference leaders would visit Pakistan "sooner than later" and would be given a warm reception.

The military ruler was briefing the Cabinet on his recently concluded visit to Syria, Jordan and Lebanon and his recent meetings with the foreign minister of Afghanistan and the Indian high commissioner.
