Action plan for development of Chrar-e-Sharief

The Jammu and Kashmir government has finalised an action plan to develop a model town at Chrar-e-Sharief.

The Rs 100-million plan was finalised at a high-level meeting presided over by Minister for Housing and Urban Development Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Shah in Srinagar on Monday.

The Housing and Urban Development Department will approach various lending agencies for loans to implement this ambitious project.

Around 70 kanals of land had been identified for the construction of a mini stadium and the plan is likely to be discussed with the sports council shortly.
