As part of stepped up anti-militancy drive in Kashmir, the Indian Army on Tuesday killed five top Lashkar-e-Tayiba ultras, including its self-styled battalion commander, and busted a major militant hideout in northern part of the Valley.
A huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives was recovered from the hideout, defence sources said.
The hideout, big enough to accommodate at least 50 people, was unearthed at Potshahi forests in frontier district of Kupwara.
