1 killed, 3 hurt in mini-bus blast in J&K

A special police officer was killed and three others injured in a bomb explosion in a mini bus at Fatehpur on the Rajouri-Thanamandi road on Friday morning.

Police sources said Special Police Officer Abdul Qayum picked up an abandon transistor lying on the road. He later boarded a mini bus accompanied by some of his colleagues.

However, as soon he tried to switch the transistor on it exploded killing the officer on the spot.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
