Twenty blasts rocked the International Border in Akhnoor area of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, official sources said.
There was no loss of life or property, the sources said.
Inter-Services Intelligence agents planted about 20 improvised explosive devices fitted with timers along the IB in Beli Azmat area of Akhnoor in Jammu sector on Wednesday night, targeting mainly Border Security Force personnel, the sources said.
The IEDs exploded in brief intervals from 0500 (IST) hours, they said. The last two blasts took place at 1340 hours and 1400 hours.
Two explosives were recovered and defused by security forces, the sources said.
"However, we kept our cool and restrained our troops from moving closer to the place of blasts," the sources said, adding, "had we moved closer after some blasts, it would have resulted in casualties on our side."
