Two top militants of Harkat-ul-Jehadi-Islami (HUJI) outfit, a 'supreme commander' and his deputy, were among four people killed in Doda district of Jammu in separate incidents since Tuesday night, official sources said in Jammu on Wednesday.

Acting on specific information about the presence of a group of HUJI militants, personnel of the Delta Forces launched an operation in Changloo area of Doda district late on Tuesday night, sources told PTI.

During the search operations, militants opened fire and also fired rockets at the security forces. The encounter continued till Wednesday morning.

In another incident, militants abducted two persons, including a police constable, from Sagroo area in Udhampur district on Tuesday night, they said.
