Pak troops fortifying bunkers across Jammu border

Pakistani troops are reportedly upgrading and fortifying positions across the international border in Jammu sector, Minister of State for Home Vidyasagar Rao informed the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday.

"Pakistani troops are also constructing new bunkers in the sector," Rao said in a written reply, adding that Pak forces had recently carried out a summer exercise in the area.

The minister told the House that installation of electronic surveillance equipment along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir was being carried out in phases.
