Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Dr Farooq Abdullah on Sunday said he was ready to become the President of the country.
"I am ready to be the President of India," Abdullah said.
Responding to a senior Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Board member's desire to make him the President, the chief minister said, "I am ready... I will be non-controversial."
