Ultras gun down two bus passengers

Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar

Militants on Monday morning gunned down two bus passengers near Kanihama in central Badgam district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Police sources said that the militants stopped the bus at Kanihama and then sprayed bullets on two persons, identified as Ghulam Mohammad and Abdul Ahad, before fleeing from the spot.

Police rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to Srinagar.

The reason of the killings is not known and no one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
