Sikh pilgrims allowed to visit Kartarpur Sahib in Pak

For the first time since Independence, the Pakistan government has allowed 150 Sikh pilgrims to visit the historic Kartarpur Sahib gurdwara in Sialkot district where Guru Nanak had breathed his last, Harpal Singh Bhullar, president of the International Bhai Mardana Yadgari Kirtan Darbar Society, said.

"The society has received a confirmation from the Pakistan high commission."

The pilgrims will leave for Pakistan on September 17 and return on September 24, he said.

The group will reach Kartarpur Sahib where it will participate in Guru Nanak's special death anniversary samagam.
