Jihad only way to 'liberate' Kashmir: Jamaat chief

Jamaat-e-Islami chief Qazi Hussain Ahmed on Tuesday urged the Pakistan government not to hold further talks with India following the failure of the Agra summit.

"There is no need for further talks because India is not serious about Kashmir," Online news agency quoted him as saying

He said talks would be futile because India did not accept Kashmir as a disputed territory.

The Jamaat chief said the only way to separate Kashmir from India was by stepping up the military campaign.

"Jihad is the only way to liberate Kashmir and to provide Kashmiris their right of self-determination," he said.
