Two security personnel killed in J&K

Two security personnel were killed and three others, including a Border Security Force sub-inspector, injured while two security vehicles were damaged in a blast in Jammu and Kashmir since Friday evening.

Official sources said at least two vehicles belonging to security forces were damaged when militants detonated a powerful Improvised Explosive Device at Nehalpora Pattan in Baramulla district on Saturday. Further details are awaited, sources said.

Sources said militants attacked a security force patrol party at Arin Bandipora in north Kashmir on Thursday evening resulting in on-the-spot death of two security personnel and injuries to three others.

The militants escaped towards the forest area after the attack. A massive hunt has been launched to nab them, source said.

Militants shot at and wounded a BSF sub-inspector at Bohri Kadal, sources said. He has been hospitalised.
