Murasoli Maran discharged

Union Industries and Commerce Minister Murasoli Maran was on Thursday discharged from the Apollo Hospital in Madras after undergoing treatment for 32 days for a heart ailment.

A smiling and cheerful Maran, walked past the hospital lobby and shook hands with the panel of doctors who treated him. In a brief chat with mediapersons, he praised Apollo Hospitals saying it was a world class institution.

He had been admitted to the hospital on October 28 with acute breathlessness and a migraine attack. He had to be put on life support system.

Maran was escorted by his family members.
